Waris Ali Shah Public School (WPS) was established as an effort to uphold the Islamic tradition of learning through meaningful teaching; a divine profession, as Allah (SWT) Himself is Al-Alim -- the greatest of all educators. In fact, the first words of the Divine Revelations to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) brought by the archangel Jibreel reinforce this truth: "Read In The Name Of Your Lord.” Since time immemorial, Allah (SWT) has used education and educationists to enlighten His creation. WPS is a humble effort in the same vein as we aim to inculcate the following within our community:

• A deep desire for knowledge, and a spirit of love and servitude for the divine Creator and His creation.
• A wish for lifelong learning.
• A keen sense of becoming good and responsible thinkers and citizens, both on a local and global scale.
